Czech Republic has sent 3 billion crowns worth of military equipment to Ukraine

The Czech Republic has sent Ukraine military assistance to the tune of 3 billion crowns since the war started, according to information released by the Ministry of Defence.  The ministery has not specified what weapons it sent, however according to unofficial reports it was ammunition, small arms, heavy equipment, including Dana self-propelled howitzers, RM-70 Grad salvo rocket launchers, Soviet-made T-72 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. Defence ministry spokesperson Jana Zechmeisterová confirmed that the Czech Republic is now negotiating with Germany on cooperation regarding military assistance to Ukraine. The daily Die Welt reported last week that Germany has offered the Czech Republic military material and weapons in exchange for equipment that Prague will send to the Ukrainian army. The Czech army can send Soviet-era equipment to Ukraine that Ukrainian soldiers know how to use.
