Czech police not investigating any case linked to Epstein
Czech police are not currently investigating any cases linked to documents from the probe into US financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the current and former interior ministers said on Czech Television on Sunday. Interior minister Lubomír Metnar (ANO party) and his predecessor Vít Rakušan (STAN) said in the discussion programme Questions of Václav Moravec that they had no information indicating any investigation in Czechia. The issue was raised after former foreign minister Jan Lipavský , now an MP elected on Civic Democratic Party, asked Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) whether the government was checking possible links between Epstein and the Czech Republic.
