Czech PM meets with Pope Francis at the Vatican
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala was received by Pope Francis at the Vatican on Thursday. The Czech prime minister said later that Pope Frances had expressed strong support for the Ukrainian people and emphasized the need to help them in their just struggle against the Russian aggression.
The Czech Prime Minister presented the head of Catholic Church with a family Bible with reproductions of medieval illuminations and a Ukrainian embroidered scarf with the motif of the dove of peace made by Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic. He invited the Holy Father to visit the Czech Republic.
