Czech import and export prices fell in June

In June, Czech import and export prices declined both year-on-year and month-on-month, according to the Czech Statistical Office. Compared to June 2024, export prices dropped by 0.1% and import prices by 0.5%. Both fell by 0.4% from May. The changes were largely influenced by the koruna’s exchange rate against the euro and the dollar; after currency adjustment, prices actually rose. The biggest annual drops were in coke and refined petroleum products, while the highest increases were in wood products and agricultural goods. Import food prices rose by 8.9%, and motor vehicle prices by 7.6%.
