Czech FM Macinka visits Ukraine amid Russian attacks

Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka arrived in Ukraine on Wednesday morning for talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrij Sybiha in Kyiv. He is accompanied by MP and honorary president of the Motorists' party Filip Turek. The visit comes as Russia carried out a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine, hitting Kyiv and the western Lviv region. Russian authorities claimed the use of a new hypersonic missile. Because of the strikes, the minister’s train reached Kyiv with a delay. The talks are expected to focus on bilateral cooperation and public attitudes towards Ukrainians in Czechia.
