Czech Floorball Team wins bronze at World Championships

The Czech National Floorball team has won bronze at the  2021 Floorball World Championships after beating Switzerland 4:3 in overtime on Saturday. The Czechs managed to turn the game around after initially losing 1:3 to the Swiss. The winner was then scored by Filip Langer in the 65th minute.

This evening will see hosts Finland play Sweden for gold.

Floorball is one of the most popular sports among the young in the Czech Republic. The Czech National Team has so far managed to win one silver and three bronze medals at the IFF World Championships.
