Czech diplomats and politicians strongly condemn Russia’s alleged killing of civilans in Ukraine
The systematic murder of civilians, which is being committed by the fleeing Russian Army, is another in a series of appaling war crimes committed by the Putin regime, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs official Twitter account stated on Sunday. Together with its allies, Czech diplomacy will continue to strive to bring the culprits to justice, the account writes.
Several of the country’s leading politicians joined in the condemnation of alleged murders of civilians committed by the Russian Army in the town of Bucha, which Ukraine’s Defence Ministry described as “another Srebrenica”.
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies Marek Ženíšek described the alleged actions as a “beastly murder of civilians”. Deputy-Premier Ivan Bartoš wrote that the scenes of violence in Ukrainian cities are clear evidence that “Vladimir Putin is a war criminal” and that the Czech Republic must continue to help Ukraine.
