In today’s edition of the Sunday Music Show, we’ll be listening to the fourth album by the Czech alternative rock band Priessnitz, who hail from the northern Moravian town of Jeseník. The album is called ‘Seance’, and it was first released in 1996. It was reissued a couple of years after the band, with singer-songwriter Jaromír Švejdík and Petr Kružík on lead guitar, took a ten-year hiatus. Priessnitz began as a post-punk/gothic rock band back in 1989 but have gotten more experimental and melodic over the years.
