Czech aid to Palestinians this year exceeds CZK 41 million

The Czech Foreign Ministry says it has provided CZK 26 million in humanitarian aid to Gaza since January, with another CZK 15 million allocated for projects in the West Bank. The ministry reiterated its view that Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza City is risky but stressed that Hamas control of parts of Gaza perpetuates the conflict. Prague urged Israel to protect civilians in line with international law and backed an EU–Israel deal to boost humanitarian deliveries. It also called for more aid corridors and safeguards to prevent Hamas from misusing assistance, while supporting a two-state solution.
