Covid numbers dropping, but significantly fewer tests undertaken
Laboratories in the Czech Republic registered 1,919 new cases of Covid 19 on Sunday, roughly 100 less than on the same day a week ago. However the number of tests conducted was also significantly lower, down by around 10,000. Some 2,640 patients are hospitalized with Covid, of whom 536 are in serious condition. The incidence number is currently at 335 per 100,000 people. Epidemiologists expect the numbers to start rising steeply with the onset of compulsory tests in schools and institutions.
