Covid-19 incidence rate continues to increase
The Czech Republic registered an average of nine Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days, which is the highest seven-day incidence ratio since mid-June, suggest the Ministry of Health data.
The reproduction number – the average number of people infected by one person with the virus – remains slightly above 1.3, which signifies accelerated spread of the virus.
Prague continues to have the highest incidence rate in absolute numbers, with 32 new cases per 100,000 residents recorded over the last week.
