Covid-19: Firefighters begin distributing millions of antigen tests to schools
Firefighters across the Czech Republic have begun delivering some 4.2 million antigen tests to municipalities for use in schools after they open in September.
In total, three waves of testing for Covid-19 await schoolchildren on September 1st, 6th and 9th, apart from first-graders, who will be tested on September 2nd.
Children can also be tested at an official screening centre and present a certificate. Schools may also test their pupils using PCR tests, but they must arrange those themselves. They will then be reimbursed 200 crowns for each test.
If untested, pupils will be required to wear a protective respiratory mask and not be allowed to practice indoor sports or sing during music lessons.
