Chamber of Commerce suggests easing long-term visas for Ukrainians

Ukrainian citizens with a short-term visa in the Czech Republic could be able to acquire long-term visas without the need to first return to the Ukraine, the Chamber of Commerce has suggested to Prime Minister Petr Fiala. The suggestion follows Prime Minister Fiala’s statement last week that the Czech Republic is ready to take on war refugees from the Ukraine in the event of a further deterioration in the situation in Eastern Europe.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Czechia Yevhen Perebiinis said last Monday that he is certain that Ukrainians would stay in their home country and defend it in case of a Russian attack.
