Černochová: Czechia could help run Israeli field hospitals

Czechia could participate in the running of Israeli field hospitals, says the Czech minister of defence, Jana Černochová. Ms. Černochová told the news website iRozhlas.cz that she had discussed it during a meeting with her Israeli counterpart, Yoav Gallant, in Israel on Thursday.

The minister said she was glad her country was continuing a tradition dating from 1948, when the Czechs stood by Israel’s side “in a difficult time when neighbouring countries annexed Israel practically before it could breathe as a free state.”
