Barry Levinson to receive Crystal Globe at Karlovy Vary

US Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson is set to receive the Crystal Globe for his outstanding contribution to world cinema at this year’s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the festival organizers announced on Wednesday. Among other guests will be Danish actress Trine Dyrholm to present her film Nico, in which she played the lead role as Andy Warhol’s muse.

This year’s 53rd edition of the festival will take place from June 29 to July 7.
