Babiš criticises intelligence services over Polish territorial claims disinformation

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) has criticised Czech intelligence services for failing to inform him promptly about a disinformation campaign suggesting Poland was seeking Czech territory. Babiš said he first learned from the media about a fake social media profile purporting to belong to the Czech ambassador to Poland. The campaign also involved a fake Czech Radio website. President Petr Pavel described the operation as a deliberate provocation aimed at damaging Czech-Polish relations. He said he had no information linking the campaign to Russia, although he noted that Moscow had previously conducted similar destabilising operations.
