Ano Party still leads, but centre-right Spolu (Together) gains ground in latest election poll

The opposition ANO Party would win Czech parliamentary elections if held now, with 31.6% support, according to a weekly poll by STEM for CNN Prima News. The centre-right Spolu (Together) coalition (Civic Democratic Party, Christian Democrats, TOP 09) is second with 21.8%, narrowing the gap slightly since the last survey. Right wing Direct Democracy Party, boosted by alliances with smaller parties, holds third place at 12.8%, followed by Mayors and Independents with 11.4%. The Pirates (6.1%) and the Enough! (Stačilo!) alliance (5.4%) would also pass the 5% threshold to enter Parliament. Elections are scheduled for early October.
