Almost 10,000 new entrepreneurs registered in Czechia in first four months of 2025
Czechia saw an increase of 9,933 entrepreneurs between January and April 2025. During the same their number declined by 3,580. According to data from CRIF – Czech Credit Bureau, 6,399 people launched a business in April alone, while 3,166 closed theirs. Most new entrepreneurs were in construction, professional services, and manufacturing, while the highest exit rates were in trade, construction, and manufacturing. Prague led regional growth, while the number of entrepreneurs stagnated only in Karlovy Vary Region. The rise suggests that concerns over mandatory data mailboxes have subsided.
