Actress Dagmar Havlová leaves Prague theatre after over four decades

Actress Dagmar Havlová has ended her engagement at Prague’s Vinohrady Theatre after 43 years. The widow of late president Václav Havel confirmed her decision to a newspaper.

The popular comic actress had been due to leave one of Czechia’s leading theatres in 2018 but was persuaded to stay on. Mrs. Havlová says she remains open to film and TV roles.
