Up to 300,000 tourists expected in Prague over Easter holidays

Prague is bracing for a busy Easter, with as many as 300,000 tourists expected to visit the Czech capital, including around 60,000 domestic travellers. According to Prague City Tourism, most foreign visitors will come from Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain, though some are also expected from more distant markets like the US and Canada. The latter is aided by a new direct flight from Toronto, launching in June. Visitors are drawn by Easter markets, historic sites, and local food. A special website has been set up to help tourists navigate the city’s cultural offerings.
