2022 Czech Nightingale winner

This year’s Czech Nightingales saw Lucie Bílá win her 21st Golden Nightingale for best female singer. She was also voted, for the twelfth time already, the overall Czech Nightingale winner of 2022. The best male signer award went to last year’s winner Marek Ztracený. Calin Palfini, a singer with Moldavian roots, was chosen by voters as this year’s Czech music discovery. Meanwhile the rock band Kabát won the Nightingale for best band. ATMO received the Nightingale in the Hip Hop & Rap category and Jiří Suchý was inducted into the Hall of Fame. We will look at their music in this week’s Sunday Music Show.
