War veteran Josef Kaufman dies at 95

War veteran Josef Kaufman, who fought on the Eastern Front in World War II, has died. After joining the ranks of the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps in 1944, he fought in the battles at Machnówka and Dukla, suffering serious injuries.  After the war, Kaufman settled in Czechoslovakia where he worked in the agricultural sector until his retirement. Kaufman, who was born in Volyn in what is now Ukraine, was 95 years old.
