Volunteers join forces in annual clean-up effort

Volunteers from all over Czechia are participating in today’s nationwide Let’s Clean Up Czechia campaign, aimed at tackling the growing global waste problem by cleaning litter in natural areas, cities, and villages. Nearly 4,000 clean-ups have been reported as part of this spring's campaign.

This year's focus is on cigarette butts, a common form of litter in both urban and natural areas, and raising awareness of their negative environmental impact. The event has been organized regularly since 2014 by the non-profit Ukliďme Česko (Let's Clean Up Czechia).
