Volunteers help collect 3.8 tons of garbage in Krkonoše Mountains
Some 200 employees of the Krkonoše National Park Administration and volunteers collected 3.8 tons of waste over the weekend, as part of a regular effort to keep the Czech countryside clean.
Park administration spokesman Radek Drahný said volunteers focused on area around busy roads, hiking trails and the banks of waterways. The next event is due to take place over the weekend of September 18.
