Vltava River meander near Solenice
Some 70 kilometres south of Prague, near the town of Příbram, the Vltava River creates one of its most beautiful meanders. It is located between the villages of Zduchovice and Solenice. Because of its shape it is called Solenická Podkova or the Solenice Horseshoe. From the viewpoint, situated some 150 metres above the river, you can see the nearby Orlík reservoir.
