Piano virtuoso Tomáš Kačo started playing by piano himself at the age of five at his family home in the town of Nový Jičín in Moravia and didn’t have proper lessons till he was 11 or 12. He later studied in Ostrava and Prague before a life-changing stint at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. The musician, who is in his mid-30s, is now based in California.

This programme is focused on his 2018 LP My Home, which features guest appearances from multiple Grammy winner John Patitucci and Czech musician Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý, as well as the Kühn Children's Choir and Kačo’s sister Veronika. The record takes in classical, jazz, folk and Romany music.
