Václav Klaus released from hospital

The former Czech president, Václav Klaus was released from Prague’s Central Military Hospital on Friday, where he spent over a week getting treatment for high blood pressure and urinary problems. Mr. Klaus is reported to be doing well and will return for regular check-ups.

The 80-year-old former president underwent hip surgery in 2008. In February of this year, he tested positive for Covid-19, but refused hospitalization at the time.
