Vaccinologists recommend extending interval between Covid vaccines
The Czech Society of Vaccinology has recommended extending the interval between the first and second dose of Covid vaccines from Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna to six weeks. At present, the second dose of Pfizer is administered in three weeks and the second dose of Moderna in 28 days.
Vaccinologists also recommend that chronically ill people who are at risk of a serious course of Covid-19 should be given the jab.
Almost 1 million doses of Covid-19 vaccinations have been administered so far, and 288,000 people have been immunized with the necessary two doses.
