Vaccine certificates from abroad not always recognized
Vaccine certificates issued by foreign countries are not always recognized by the Czech authorities, Czech Television reported, citing the problems of Czechs who live abroad or travelled there to be able to get a vaccine sooner.
According to Health Minister Adam Vojtěch this is because the Czech health authorities have no way of checking the authenticity of the certificates. The situation should change with the arrival of EU Covid passes.
Meanwhile, certificates from seven countries with whom the Czech Republic has bilateral agreements are recognized. They are Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.
