Vaccine against new variant of Covid to be available in Czechia soon

A vaccine against the new variant of Covid – labelled KP.2  - should be available in the Czech Republic within a few weeks, Health Minister Vlastimil Válek said at a press conference ahead of Tuesday’s meeting of EU health ministers. According to Válek, the state has so far paid about CZK 18 billion for vaccines against Covid, most of it from Pfizer, which will also supply this year's vaccines. About 19 million doses have been delivered so far, according to earlier figures.
