US Embassy in Prague opens book of condolences for Madeleine Albright
The US Embassy in Prague has opened a book of condolences for former U.S. secretary of state Madeleine Albright, who passed away on Wednesday.
Members of the public may sign the book on Friday and Monday at the American Centre at Malá Strana. People can also pay their respects by signing an electronic condolence book.
Mrs Albright, who was born in Czechoslovakia in 1937, served as secretary of state under US President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001 and played a key role in the Czech Republic’s accession to NATO.
