Unions at Hyundai plant declare strike alert after breakdown in talks with management

Unions at the Hyundai car plant in Nošovice, Frýdek-Místek region, have declared a strike alert after talks with company representatives on a new collective agreement, including wage growth, hit the rocks. The company’s employees have started collecting signatures in support of a possible strike. Jan Rodek, a spokesman for the carmaker, told reporters that the company's management would not comment on the collective bargaining or strike alert for the time being.
