Unions: a third of Česká pošta workers to take part in three-day ‘work slowdown’ strike

About one in three Česká pošta employees plan to take part in a three-day strike that started Wednesday, aimed at improving working conditions.

According to the trade unions that organised the postal workers’ strike, the main action will take the form of a slowdown. According to Česká pošta, all branches and other operations are currently operating normally.

Česká pošta employs 27,000 people and operates 3,200 branches. Postal trade unionists last went on strike five years ago, seeking higher wages.
