Unemployment rate in April at 4.3 percent

Unemployment in the Czech Republic stayed at 4.3 percent in April, similarly as in March, according to data released by the Czech Labour Office on Monday. At the end of last month, just over 318,500 people were unemployed nationwide, 3,600 fewer than in March. At the same time, the number of registered job vacancies rose by 4,000 to over 95,700. The jobless rate increased year-on-year, from 3.7 percent last April.
