Ukraine confirms use of combat helicopters delivered from Czechia
Ukraine has confirmed that its air force uses Mi-24 combat helicopters donated to them by Czechia. A photo of one of the helicopters was published on Twitter by the Ukrainian Strategic Communications Center Stratcom, which combats disinformation and other external threats. There have been speculations about the delivery of helicopters for several months, but Czechia has so far declined to release any other details about the aid to Kyiv.
Czechia was one of the first countries to provide Ukraine with military aid after the Russian invasion. According to Defence Minister Jana Černochová, by the end of May, the Czech government had already provided Ukraine with military material worth more than CZK 3.5 billion, with further deliveries worth CZK 600 to 700 million to follow.
