Two planes from Italy arrive in Czechia to help battle Bohemian Switzerland fire

Two Canadair planes from Italy arrived in Czechia on Friday to help with the firefighting efforts in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.

The planes, each with a capacity for 6000 litres of water, already assisted last Thursday, but then had to return to Italy to respond to a fire that broke out there.

They will replace the Swedish Air Tractor aircrafts, which have been assisting in extinguishing the fire since last week. The planes are collecting water from the Milada lake near the town Ústí nad Labem.
