Two killed and eight injured in military vehicle demonstration ride

Police are investigating an accident in which two men died and eight others were injured during a private demonstration of a World War II military vehicle in Horní Dvořiště close to the Austrian border. According to the police, the armoured vehicle apparently skidded while crossing a bridge and overturned into a stream. Nine people were trapped inside the vehicle one was unsuccessfully resuscitated by eyewitnesses outside. Four ambulance crews and two helicopters intervened at the scene. The injured were taken to a hospital in Česky Krumlov. No information has been released on the nationality of the victims.
