Transport Ministry split can help the sector

As the new government has been formed, there have been some changes in the responsibilities of individual ministries. The agenda of the Ministry of Transport and Communications will be streamlined, with the communications division being shifted to a newly created Ministry of Information Technologies.

Representatives of the transport business welcomed the change, saying it will benefit the Czech transport sector. A greater number of bureaucrats will be able to concentrate on resolving problems in the transport segment, for instance, in drafting legislation and regulations.
