Transport Ministry introducing several new road signs
The Czech Transport Ministry is introducing several new road signs across the country. Among the changes are new green signs that will indicate alternative routes during motorway closures. The move was inspired by a similar system used in Germany. Other updates include revised signs regulating bicycle traffic and modified intersection symbols. The changes are part of a new regulation that came into force in July, accompanying an amendment to the Road Traffic Act. The same law also introduced a new national Road Inspectorate and allows for driver’s licences to be delivered to parcel boxes.
