Tourist numbers up nearly 9 percent in Prague in second quarter

Nearly 9 percent more tourists visited Prague in the second quarter of this year than in the same period in 2009, according to official figures released on Tuesday. The biggest increase came in Czech tourists, with nearly 25 percent more spending at least one night in the capital in the second quarter. The number of foreign visitors was up by 7 percent during that period.
