Three Czechs advance to Rolland Garros third round

Jiří Lehečka, Markéta Vondroušová and Marie Bouzková are through to the third round of Roland Garros, while Jakub Menšík, Barbora Krejčíková and Tereza Valentová have been knocked out.

Lehečka beat 26th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina of Spain 6–3, 3–6, 6–1, 6–2 on the Paris clay. Vondroušová, a finalist in 2019, overcame 25th seed Magdalena Fręch of Poland 6–0, 4–6, 6–3. Bouzková eased past Britain’s Sonay Kartal 6–1, 6–4.
