Thousands visit Prague Castle for free on first weekend of Advent
On the first weekend of Advent, Prague Castle opened a number of representative areas, normally inaccessible, to the public, including offices and halls where the president holds meetings or receives important guests. Thousands of people availed themselves of the opportunity to view the Spanish Hall, the Rudolf Gallery, the Throne Room, the Habsburg Salon and the Mirror Salon. People also has free access to St. Vitus Cathedral, the Golden Lane, St. George's Basilica or the Southern Gardens which normally charge a fee.
