Teplice woman charged with murder of newborn

Police in Teplice have charged a 29-year-old woman with the murder of her baby, found dead in a local recycling bin for glass several dozen meters from her home. The body of the newborn was discovered on Thursday by a passerby who was rummaging through the bin.

A police representative said the newborn had been denied primary care after birth. Novinky.cz reported that neighbours had no idea that the local woman, described as heavily overweight, had been pregnant.
