Temporary Moravian Jewish museum opens in Brno

The so-called Malý Mehrin, a temporary Moravian Jewish museum, has opened up in Brno’s Viennese street, Czech Television reported on Tuesday. The museum is hosting an exhibition called “Carriers of memory”, which tells the stories of Moravian Jews through several authentic exhibits. It will also host many lectures, talks and special programmes for children.

The temporary structure is set to stand before the final museum building, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma is finished.
