Temperature records broken at ten monitoring stations at the weekend

Temperature records were broken at ten monitoring stations in Czechia over the weekend. While due to inversion, temperatures in the lowlands remained around freezing point, it was unseasonably warm on the ridges of the Jeseníky Mountains, where the temperature exceeded 10 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was 14 degrees Celsius recorded in Albrechtice in the Bruntál region.
