Taxmen raid Prague companies

And finally today, Czech companies which don't pay their VAT - the taxman is gunning for YOU. The Prague tax office recently concluded a special operation in which large and medium-sized companies were raided and their books examined to see whether they were paying their VAT. The six-week operation was launched on the orders of the Finance Minister, Jiri Rusnok, and is considered to have been a success. There is talk of similar raids being carried out in other parts of the Czech Republic.
