Survey: Half of Czech households with children plan domestic summer holiday

About half of Czech households with children do not plan to spend their summer holiday abroad, according to a survey by Explorio.cz.

Some four in five accommodation services say they expect families to comprise the majority of guests due a lack of foreign tourists and few corporate events scheduled.

According to the survey, one in five people who normally take foreign holidays plan to stay in the Czech Republic. Explorio.cz head František Peterka said the main reasons are concerns over health, safety, and possible complications with coronavirus testing or the so-called Covid passport.
