Survey: Czechs donated 21 billion crowns last year

According to new research by the STEM agency, one in three people in Czechia participated in some form of volunteer activity last year. “It’s often things like helping with childcare, walking someone's dog, or bringing groceries,” says research director Jaromír Mazák. In addition to volunteering, the research also highlights the generosity of people in Czechia. Donors are most willing to give money for the care of individuals who are ill.
