Survey: 80% of Czechs have concerns about their holidays, down from 84% last year

Eighty percent of Czechs have at least some concerns related to their holidays, down from 84% last year. However, current geopolitical tensions are not significantly reducing their willingness to travel. This is according to a survey conducted by NMS for ERGO Travel Insurance among 1,000 respondents.

The most common concerns are illness, bad weather, transport disruptions and high prices.

According to the survey, 35% of people planning to travel abroad this year are worried about adverse weather during their holiday. Thirty percent fear health problems before departure, while 28% are concerned about becoming ill or injured during their trip. Twenty-four percent worry about transport disruptions, and 17% are concerned about high prices. The same proportion of travellers heading abroad—17%—also cited concerns about the current geopolitical situation.
