Supreme Court upholds sentence for Czech man who looted in Ukraine

The Supreme Court rejected the appeal of former Czech soldier Filip Siman, who joined Ukrainian volunteers after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He will serve eight years in prison for looting during military operations. The court made its decision without a public hearing, and a full justification is not yet available. The appeal was considered manifestly unfounded, said Václav Vlček, head of the public relations department.
